Matrix Partnership is commissioned by the Scottish Improvement Service, in partnership with Design + Architecture Scotland to run design awareness training, providing Scottish planning authority staff and elected members with the opportunity to develop their design related knowledge and skills. A variety of workshops have been facilitated geared to defining key urban design principles and identifying how these considerations are addressed at each step of the planning and design process.
