The new Stratford International Docklands Light Railway station is to form part of the Stratford International public transport interchange, centred on the new Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) station and forming part of the wider Stratford City development currently under construction to support the 2012 Olympics.

Proposals undertaken by the practice for Docklands Light Railway (DLR) focus on improving and integrating the two new railway infrastructure projects (CTRL and DLR), together with the new bus station and taxi rank within the proposed surrounding mixed use development. Design proposals, taken forward by DLR, supported by international best practice case study research demonstrate how engineering objectives can be realised whilst introducing dynamic new building forms and a high quality public realm.
