Matrix Partnership is at the forefront of urban theory and practice. We are advisors to the UK Government’s Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE) and have been responsible for:

–    a variety of best practice design guidance publications (such as the Urban Design Compendium and on-line Creating Successful Masterplans resource); and

–    research and policy advice (such as housing design and design coding).

Directors of the practice are accredited CABE Enablers, Building for Life Assessors and regular visiting tutors in urban design at Oxford University, Oxford Brookes University and University College London. 

Linking theory and practical projects helps ensure that the team  remains at the cutting edge of urban design practice.
