Over the last few years, we have been commissioned by a wide variety of clients to create and deliver training programmes for their staff. Training sessions are managed by experienced facilitators and provided through interactive workshops aimed at local authority officers and Members, housing association managers, house builders and registered social landlords. 

While these events are always tailored to meet a specific client’s brief, our team’s experience in this area enables us to adapt the training models that we have tried and tested, for use by other clients.
Training programmes that we have run include:

–    ‘Delivering Successful Places’ training workshops on behalf of CABE, for those involved in housing renewal and growth areas

–    ‘Eco-town design awareness training’ for partners involved in the designated UK Eco-towns 

–    ‘Design awareness training’ for the Homes and Community Agency and its partners throughout the HCA’s regional offices

–    ‘Design Skills Training’ for Transform South Yorkshire’s ‘Delivering Design Quality’ programme, which included each exercise being filmed and packaged for e-learning

–    ‘Rural masterplanning: design skills training’ – for local authorities and their partners eligible for the Rural Masterplanning Fund

–    ‘Design awareness training’ for Scottish local authorities on behalf of the Scottish Improvement Service and Design + Architecture Scotland

–    Design awareness and Building for Life training for specific developers / housebuilders
