Working out of two offices, in London and in Dorset, the practice is comprised of a compact team of professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Recognising the inherently inter-disciplinary nature of urban design, the founders set out in 2000 to create a closely interwoven team that would fuse together the primary design and delivery skills necessary to create successful urban places. This continues to be integral to the way we operate, and challenges the departmental orthodoxy that separates disciplines into discrete silos. Although members of the team are qualified architects, planners, landscape architects and computer animators, we are foremost urbanists who revel in the space in between. Members of the team are also designated CABE Enablers, provide design training on behalf of UK and Scottish Government agencies and lecture in urban design at Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University. The result is a practice founded on experience, but which continues to strive for imaginative and innovative solutions.
